In addition, nurse leaders have individuals who follow them, while managers have people who work to realize the organization’s goals.

The main objective of nurse leaders and managers is to have principles that work towards realizing set goals and objectives. As nurse leaders, our main aim is to direct and assist the nurses in providing affordable, quality, and patient-centered healthcare that the organizations’ management aspires for (Phillips et al., 2018). Therefore, we collaborate with the management to help achieve the goal of provision of quality and better healthcare services to patients using the limited resources. Inefficient leadership and management in the nursing organizations is responsible for problems, such as the inadequate supply of hospital goods due to wrong estimates and lack of planning. Therefore, to achieve the goals, missions, and visions of the healthcare facilities, both the nurse leaders and managers should collaborate (Whitney, 2018). Moreover, using this overlap in our goals with the health centers’ management, nurse leaders act as links between the patients’ fraternity and the management. Therefore, I receive patients’ views and opinions from the nurses, who often contact them and report them during hospital meetings to find solutions.
