Yes, it will be important for participants to journal their progress. If you are trying to fulfill an objective, you need to monitor your progress. Since the participants are invested in the study, it is crucial to analyze things from their perspective. The stakeholders in my research include patients, their family members, physicians, insurance providers, healthcare institutions, and the community. Pre-diabetic patients will benefit from improved health outcomes. Diabetes can be a costly affair; hence, family members will experience a reduced disease burden. Physicians will have more knowledge to share with their patients. Insurance providers, healthcare institutions, and the community will witness an improvement in population health.

The content of this presentation holds valuable applications for nurse practitioners (NPs) in their practice. As an NP, I can use the information to understand better the impact of education on childhood obesity and how to implement intervention strategies. Childhood obesity is a topic that is in need of advocacy. I agree that children obesity is a growing health concern. Nutrition education is provided to mothers during pregnancy and after. There are programs such as Women, Infants & children supplemental nutrition. Nutrition education should be continued with wellness appointments also. As children age parents may overlook nutritional recommendations in order to get their children to eat. Parents must understand the importance of obesity in connection to disease prevention. I think that culture play a major role in food decisions. Your PICOT question is a great question to discuss your recommendation for a practice change. Low income is a major barrier of obesity because less expensive food choices will be consumed which are usually higher in calories and fat. You gave a great presentation on this evidenced-based practice recommendation change for clinical practice.
