In this assignment, you will develop a more personalized understanding of the Balanced

Scorecard concept and see how your vision and mission can be linked to your goals and

objectives. Using the S-M-A-R-T tools in section 6.7 of Chapter 6 in the text, create your own

list of goals and objectives.

Create 4 to 5 S-M-A-R-T goals and objectives and demonstrate how they link to your Strategy

Diamond and personal vision and mission statements.

Be sure that your Learning Journal entry is a minimum of 500 words.

Specific. Complete the Art for Video Games specialization course on Coursera.

Measurable. Need to finish Current gen 3d video art and Concept art courses to do so.

Attainable. Spending about 5 hours a week I can complete all weekly projects on time.

Realistic. I have enough free time, good equipment, and all resources to achieve this goal.

Timely. I have already completed 3 weeks of 6 of the first course and need 5 more weeks for the

second one to get the Specialization. It means, that I need 8 weeks in total.

Achieving this goal will help me to gain some new 3d modeling skills. These skills are

connected with my mission and vision because I need them to be able to create something I

want; in my Personal Diamond I also mentioned that I want to work as a 3d artist – I need these

skills for this job.

Specific. Write a narrative for a simple horror quest game.

Measurable. Need to write the whole story that will be able to connect 10 smaller quests that can

lead through this story.

Attainable. There are many online video resources, articles, and even textbooks about narrative

writing and theories. I can use them to get some ideas and make the story very interesting.

Realistic. I have enough time, resources, and motivation to achieve this goal.

Timely. I have 1 year to achieve this goal: 2 months for the story and 1 month for each quest.

Achieving this goal will help me to do the first steps in creating a game on my own. My mission

and vision include creating something interesting and enjoying it, teaching something through

things I create. In my Personal Diamond, I also mentioned that I want to try myself in this

sphere.

Specific. Save money to move back to Russia.

Measurable. I need to save 50.000rmb (CN) to have enough money for rent at the beginning and

not to be in a rush seeking a job. This money will also help me to have a full medical check I

needed for a long time.

Attainable. I can put aside 4.200rmb (CN) each month which is only half of my current salary.

Now, because of the coronavirus outbreak, I spend twice less than a half which means that I

really can do that when I go back to work without any issues.

Realistic. I have a stable job with a contract that will last 1 more year.

Timely. I have 1 year to achieve this goal: 4.200rmb a month = 50.400 after 12 months.

Achieving this goal will help me to move back to Russia where I have more connections and

availability to achieve my mission and vision. In my Personal Diamond, I also mentioned that I

want to live in Russia.

4.

Specific. Get a bachelor’s diploma in Business Administration.

Measurable. I need to complete at least 16 required courses according to the Catalog.

Attainable. I joined the University of the People and on my way to achieving this goal.
